CAUTION: Please do not use a net with this species. Their rostrum is covered in very fine, spiky odontodes which will get caught in nets.

The fish for sale are around 2" in length, give or take a bit.

These neat fish turn green when resting on plant leaves, and brown on other backgrounds. In the wild, they eat by scraping algae and biofilm from plant leaves. In the aquarium, they need a constant supply of these foods in order to thrive.
