Overview: We believe these might be L180, which are closely related to L181 and L183 Starlight Ancistrus, but aren't completely certain. They have fine white spots across their bodies.
Setup Considerations: Bushynoses are very active and are always in search of food. So a well seasoned tank with plenty of driftwood and rocks is ideal.
Special Care Requirements: There should be plenty of areas for the pleco to hide.
Diet: Vegetarian. Ancistrus primarily feed on alagae and plant material, but some protein should be supplemented. Ours are eating algae wafers, zucchini, and Massivore pellets.
Wild Pleco Disclaimer: While our aquarium bred plecos are 100% guaranteed to be correctly identified, identifying wild plecos can be tough. We do our due diligence to try to ensure we are able to provide you with an accurate identity; however, there is always a chance of error identifying wild specimens.
