These are beautiful fish and do very well in the aquarium, however, they need to be kept in groups...the larger the better. If only 1 is kept, it will be aggressive towards other species. If only 2 are kept, one will dominate the other. In a group, they can establish their pecking order and settle down. Treat them like rift lake cichlids, and you will be just fine.

The fish currently for sale are eating well on all types of sinking foods and are in the 1.75"-2.5" size range.
