Comment: I received the fish around 10am today. I drip acclimated them until the water that they came in doubled and let them stay in it for a couple of hours then floated them in the tank they were going in for 30 minutes and let them go. They are beautiful and doing fine.

Comment: Me and my wife were looking to buy a fish from a trusted website so we looked into aquarium co-ops videos who we are familiar with and he mentioned "Dan's fish". So we decided why not look into this guys site and buy our dream center piece which was an electric blue acara, let me just say me and my wife were blown away at our new little acara who arrived in immaculate packaging and the fish wasn't even stressed out is was also very healthy! We MOST DEFINITELY will be buying more fish from here and matter a fact finish buying our dream fish from here. Comment: I have zero complaints, all the fish arrived well and packed with great care. I ordered 5 Cardinal Tetra 3 Kuhli Loachs, and one L128 Blue Phantom Pleco. the Kuhli hit the tank and I have not seen them since they joined 2 other Kuhli Loachs that have been in this tank for 2+ years. I did lose 2 of the tetras though I am not sure how, I woke the next morning and I only had 3 in the tank. After 30+ years in the hobby I know fish die. the Phantom well he is tiny and a little shy though I have seen him a few times and he is Gorgeous. All in all I am very pleased about this order. I would highly recommend Dan's Fish. The upfront shipping date, the care in which the fish are packed, the no additional charges for hot or cool packs. completely confident and I know I will be making more orders in the future. Comment: Unfortunately, I haven't had good fortune with Bolivian Rams or Killis. Only one of the 3 Rams survived their 1st week. Overall, in spite of pre-testing the water (perfect parameters) and a very tight cover, the survival rate hasn't been very good with the Killis either. The Rams seemed very stressed from the shipping. All my other purchases during the 1st 6 months have worked out very well with very few losses. I remain very positive with all the livestock I have purchased.

Comment: As usual, every fish and shrimp arrived in excellent condition—alive and thriving a week later. However, I must note a slight difference in experience compared to other vendors. Typically, when ordering shrimp (neocaridina, in this case) from elsewhere, they often include a some extras due to the delicate nature of shrimp during shipping (aside from Amano shrimp; they are bullet proof; you don't need extras of those). With Dan's Fish, though I always receive precisely the amount I order. So, bear this in mind—if you order four cherry shrimp, you might receive exactly four, no more, no less. This isn't a criticism, especially considering that all the shrimp arrived alive. And even if there had been any issues, I know Dan's Fish would take care of me, so I can always place my orders with confidence. The primary reason I continue to order from Dan's fish is their commitment to ensuring that every fish they sell is healthy, vivacious and free from diseases and parasites. When purchasing fish, that is paramount to me and is definitely worth the price.

Comment: Dan knows his killifish. They are beauties and arrived alive and well. However, the chili rasboras I bought were too tiny: they shouldn't be sold at that tiny size. Yes, I know they are small fish.

Comment: In have emailed but have not received a response. The fish came in healthy and great, but the half banded pikes I ordered are actually a different cichlid. They are Regani Dwarf pikes which means they will not reach the size I had hoped for to be living with my larger cichlids. The advertised species is crenicichla geayi and I got crenicichla regani. Over all the fish and packing are number one and the care for quarantine is awesome.

Comment: I am so impressed with Dans Fish. I am new to the fish keeping hobby and because of this I had a dozen questions. In the past I have ordered fish online from other places and they never even replied to my e mails. Dan however answered every question I asked and even delayed shipping upon request when I had problems with my tanks. And my fish arrived on time and are healthy and happy. Comment: Great experience all around. My desired fish were on a wish list and I got notified they were now available. I ordered 10 Chili Rasboras and I was notified quickly of the ship date. They travelled overnight and arrived beautifully packaged and full of life. Transitioned into my tank very nicely. This is probably the best place to order from if you want quality fish that travel in careful style.

Comment: I am so glad to have found Dan’s, I have seen how completely I can trust the service and the quality of the fish. My last two orders were for fish that were out of stock and I asked to be notified when they came in. Shortly, I was notified when they became available and a week later they are in my aquarium. I also love they send an email detailing the plan for shipping and the day you can expect them. All around great!

Comment: Don’t give me wrong I really like Dan’s Fish but I ordered manacapuru anglefish and those fish a $80 each. The size of those fish was like a quarter size, I’m ordered 4 of them. One of them was really weak maybe a little bit smaller than quarter size he didn’t eat from the beginning After three weeks he was dead. I think they should select those fish little bit better before they send for customers because like I say $80 for small Fish is not cheap.
