Comment: First time ordering from Dan’s Fish. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. My order consisted of 9 species and 56 total fish with zero DOA and zero losses after introducing them into their new environments. All fish were individually double bagged in high quality oxygen filled heat sealed bags. The danios, rasboras, Cory’s, tetras, apistos and loaches all arrived in perfect condition. The rainbow fish arrived with abrasions on their lips from darting into the side of the bag during transit (common for rainbows). All were added to a cycled aquarium are healing well with no treatment needed and zero secondary infections. The platinum halfbeaks arrived with a few of the fish having a few millimeters of their bottom beaks broken from darting into the side of the bag during transit. None of them seem to be showing any signs of distress because of it and all seem to be healing and feeding well with no treatment needed or secondary infections. As a whole I am pleased with the condition and quality of the fish I received from Dan’s Fish. All adapted and settled well to their respective tanks and are feeding and behaving as each individual species should. The piece of mind that I had ordering fish from Dan is worth every penny. Comment: In my first order from Dan’s Fish, I received 5 reticulated hillstream loaches, and wow, they are so much fun to watch! They arrived super healthy, all packed in their own individual bags. Today, they’re zooming around my tank like they’re the boss. They’re peaceful, but you might catch a couple of them sparring with each other as they attempt to guard their favorite eating spot. No worries, though—overall, they’re very peaceful and get along great with bottom feeders like my 7 corydoras and amano shrimp.

Comment: I absolutely love my Corydoras! I got seven of these little guys, and they’re such a blast to watch. When I first introduced them they moved up and down the glass exploring my tank. Once oriented, they began surfing the substrate much like a bunch of guys in a pie-eating contest. I was concerned when I first caught one or two of them resting along the bottom, but then I found out this is normal behavior. Before I decided to buy from Dan’s Fish, I did my research. I visited the local fish shops and noticed some fish that were clearly not doing well, some lying dead at the bottom of their tanks. Then, I checked out the online suppliers, read what other customers had to say, and watched several YouTube videos that gave me an idea of what to expect. For me, this wasn’t worth arguing over a dollar or two. I was looking for the best high-quality, healthy fish I could find, and I concluded Dan’s Fish best fit that bill. I wasn’t disappointed! As I opened the box they arrived in, I found each fish packed in their individual bag, and, most importantly, thriving. All of them are now in my tank. They're thriving, healthy, and I personally believe, happy!

Comment: These Exclamation Point Rasbora's are indeed small but I found them quite entertaining for their size as the like to dart around the tank generally close together. At times they all also wander off on their own. I decided ten wasn't enough so I have placed an order for more. They were so small that my other tetras would certainly have thought they were food so I set them up in their own tank.

Comment: My first order, not my last.... In spite of a weather delay in shipping, fish arrived in 2 days, and all seem healthy. Packaging was solid, each fish individually double bagged, and I assume oxygen enriched, fasting must have occurred as there was very little poop in bags. After acclimatized to temp in tank, I released into tank, and all seem not very traumatized... Corys immediately started doing their thing, Plecos, disappeared, but soon were seen attached to inside of tank, and the dwarf neon Rainbows hooked up and cruised around..... I can't wait until they grow some...

Comment: The fish arrived safe and lively. They're all healthy, happy, enthusiastically eating and looking good. The Green Leaf Algae Eating Shrimp act a little differently to what was described. They seem to hide more than my Amanos did. They are healthy and picking off algae so I think they are fine, just not as out and about as the Amanos. I have a bunch of blue Neocaridinas in the tank with them fwiw. Great quality as usual!

Comment: My first time buying from Dan's Fish was excellent! Not only did the option to schedule the delivery provide a level of flexibility that I hadn't considered possible before, but I was also impressed by how my fish were securely packaged. Not to mention, the communication from customer service was timely and helpful! As for the fish, they look healthy, colorful, beautiful, and appear to be adjusting to being in the tank even after going through the mail. Overall very impressed, especially as it's my first time buying fish online. Looking forward to the next time I have space for more fish!

Fish are individually packed in heavy duty double bags. I had a difficult time finding a Royal Acara locally. Dan's Fish was the only place I could get them. Comment: The Muzel tetras I ordered arrived healthy and active. They're juveniles so it will take a little while before they color up but that's fine with me. They're voracious eaters just like the candy cane tetras that are in the same tank. They aren't shy and have no problems competing for food.

Comment: Although this is not my first online purchase of livestock for my 55-gallon freshwater aquarium, it is my first one from Dan's Fish. I must say the whole experience from purchase through delivery deserves a 5-star rating. From the initial order I could track the progress through the shipping, which UPS took over from there. The fish even arrived over 2 hours before the expected delivery time, another plus. All 10 of the Lemon Tetras are healthy and energetic in the tank, their color is washed out so I hope it returns after getting used to their new home. Thanks for an awesome experience, if you have what I'm looking for in stock during my next purchase I will definitely be considering you for them. Comment: 10/10 will and am buying again! I got a guppy pair, a blue gularis pair, and a trio of redtail goodeids. Theyre all doing fantastic, eating like champs. Received bit fat healthy fish. The killis where nipped a little but that is their nature and was disclaimed. Im currently waiting on a order of the red cauliflower sabertails, along with another trio of goodeids. Im stoked

Comment: Placed my first order for live fish from Dan's Fish and could not be more pleased. I was overzealous with my initial order and ordered some fish that would have not done well in my tank size with the rest of the community I was purchasing. Their customer service was easy and fair. I ultimately purchased 9 tetra, 3 nerite snails, and 4 shrimp. All arrived happy and healthy. They have acclimated well to their new home and I have found watching my tank better than anything on TV. Comment: Overall, these are the healthiest fish I have ever bought! The shipping packaging was superior to anything I have seen. I ordered several fish, and though one pair did not ultimately survive, the rest of the fish are thriving. These fish were even healthier than what I have seen in local aquarium stores. Yes, they are more expensive at Dan’s, but the superior health is worth it. They refunded me the cost of the one pair immediately ….and I, almost as quickly, bought more fish from Dan’s. Each fish is packaged individually. The females were almost all pregnant. And two quickly gave birth within a few days! Bonus! I highly recommend this shop!
