Comment: Hi there, Just want to let you know I ordered 10 Neon Yellow Calico Platies from Dan’s Fish and they all arrived alive, healthy and active. I’ve had them for about 4 weeks now and they are delightful! So colorful and fun to watch. Super healthy fish. All of them!! Haven’t lost even one. They eat well and have already given me fry this past week. The fry are just as colorful and healthy as the parents. Comment: I couldn't be happier with my experience ordering form Dan's!!! after many failed purchases from other unnamed suppliers, I was about to give up. Dan's is top notch! All of my fish were exactly as advertised, individually double bagged and packed with care. They arrived on time, lively and immediately settled into their new home, I gave them about an hour to relax, and offered some food, which they eagerly consumed. Comment: Torn between giving a three for the yellow king cobra guppy pair and a five for the rest of my order. This is the second time ordering a guppy pair, for the male clearly being sick and dying within days, the female is fat and sassy though and will have babies soon. A previous order of a blue ivory guppy pair had the a similar weak male issue, but again the female was fine and now have plenty of fry. Everything else is great though, and still recommend Dan's for good livebearers

Comment: My experience with Dan’s Fish is excellent. It was quite warm here the day the fish arrived and the UPS didn’t show up until 3.15. I was rather worried but they were all alive and well packaged in their individual bags. I acclimated to my tank for about an hour and a half and they are doing wonderfully, including the shrimp. They seem quite healthy and happy. Looking forward to my next order.

Comment: The rummynose tetras, forktail blue-eyed rainbowfish, and the phoenix rasboras all arrived healthy and a very active from the start. The packaging process with the double bag and the clearly marked labels made it easy to process on my end. This is my second purchase from Dan's as I'm filling two tanks, I will order again. Comment: Received my first order of fish today. All fish looked great, and are now getting used to their new home. Can’t wait for this group to settle, as there are a few more fish I plan on adding. I am so pleased to say that even after a flight, the fish are all looking colorful and bright. Can’t say the same for fish I’ve purchased locally. On a side note, my son is planning on moving out, and expects that the apartment he will get is going to be too small for his large(r) tank. A true shame for him, and bonus for me. Yes, he already indicated the tank was available and is currently very lightly stocked.

Comment: After 2 straight doa nerite snails from another company. (They were lethargic and sick and died 3 days later)decided to give Dan's fish a try. Boy am i glad I did. Really impressed with my order, both snails arrived so healthy. Packaging was superb! I'm glad I found a place that really cares about their animals. They are already exploring their tank just a few hours after putting them in the tank. If your trying to decide weather to spend the few extra bucks I can say it's definitely worth it. Save yourself the extra unnecessary heartache and stress on the livestock and shop from a place that truly cares! A big thanks to Dan's fish and its staff.

Comment: All fish doing great, a month later. The original shipment got delayed by a day due to UPS shipping delay. Fish made it fine, each shipped in individual bags, really helped them on the journey. Dwarf rainbowfish had great coloration, and one of the males started flashing within a day or two. Very striking! Multi shelldwellers also doing great. Very happy with Dan's Fish, highly recommend!

Comment: I am simply beside myself at the impeccable packing of the animals!!!! Each Rummy Nose was packed in its own bag, with oxygen. I ordered 12, and they are all healthy and beautiful! I just finished acclimating and introduced them to my 90-Gallon, and they are doing beautifully. I have ordered from a number of different aquatic companies online. All I can say is I will never order from any other business than Dan's Fish!!! They really do care deeply about the transport and successful homing of the animals they sell!!!!

Their blue-gray bodies are covered with beautiful pearl-like spots, and their bright orange-red fins make them absolutely stunning. Comment: My experience with Dans fish has been fantastic. I was excited to find they had these rummy nose rasboras in stock bc I really wanted them from a source I could trust. Their costumer service was great leading up and the fish arrived packaged in their individual little condo-baggies which really helped with observing and releasing with care. Everyone was alive, but had someone not made it, it would have been so much easier to deal with it. Also, I was nervous about the transit bc I live on the other side of the country, and UPS didn’t deliver them as early in the day as I would have liked, but they arrived safely, looked healthy, and a day later everyone is swimming around happily and already showing color, even though they are in a bare tank! Thank you!

You could tell it was packed with care and by someone who truly wants what's best for the fish! Comment: I am very happy with Dan's Fish. I appreciate how he cares for his animals, and I trust that I will always receive a healthy order. I will never buy fish from a local store again, after having introduced disease to my tank that took weeks and lots of money and heartache to treat. I don't want to have to set-up and care for a quarantine tank. I trust the care he gives his fish so much that I feel safe just plopping them in my tank. I would have given five stars but I ordered 6 each apistogramma borelli opal cichlids for my 40 gallon breeder tank and all 6 were males. Wish some were females. Oh well. Comment: Since I live in a smaller town in SE Arizona and don't wanna get fish from Petsmart, i order all my fish from Dan's. Ive checked out others and felt he has the fairest shipping prices for next day delivery. I. Found one just 100 miles from me with much higher shipping. The fish are packed in individual bags and have always been in perfect condition. I never worry about mixing the water they're in with my tank. You can't go wrong with Dans. They're very conscientious about their product.
